The AIM of this course is to provide practical ideas and resources for engaging all pupils in RE lessons, recording understanding in a variety of ways and making links to other areas of the curriculum


  • Support teachers’ understanding of creativity and its use in the Primary Classroom (theory)
  • Suggest creative ways teachers may enhance lessons or topics and encourage deeper learning
  • To develop teachers’ confidence in using creative tasks in the RE classroom including songwriting, art and poetry
  • To support teachers with developing pupils’ skills as outlined in the standards document
